  •  The C&O canal is a 184.5mile long outdoor museum where you can observe the ruins of a shipping canal that operated for over 80 years.  

  • Antietam Battlefield national park is over 3,000 acres absolutely bursting at the seams with historical plaques, statues, monuments, and exhibits.

  • The town of Shepherdstown's historical museum showcases some of its history including native American heritage, civil war information, and James Rumsey's famous steamboat that was created here (There's even a 1/2 scale replica behind the museum).
