He has been an avid cyclist since his college days and has always been an advocate of a lifestyle of fitness that is also fun. In 2007 he fulfilled his lifelong dream of opening a shop promoting two of his favorite things - pedaling and paddling. He graduated from Radford University in 1983 with a Bachelors in Criminal Justice and recently retired from the Capitol. |
Kenny WalkerHis love for cycling began with mountain bike racing and he enjoys road cycling as well. In his spare time he enjoys bike packing, kayaking & fishing, gardening, and spending time with his wife & son. | ![]() |
![]() | Nick Chaya Nick is the newest addition to the team, with 7+ years of experience in the bicycle industry. He's originally from Florida, loves bike-packing, old mountain bikes, and spending as much time outdoors as possible. One of his goals in life is to bring to other people the joy that bicycles bring to him, and to encourage people to think of cycling as not just a sport, but also a valid, viable, and healthy form of transportation. When he's not doing bike-related stuff, he's probably whittling, sleeping, or eating. He also has a B.A in Archaeology, and enjoys identifying rocks, trees, and birds. |
Hannah BeahmHannah Beahm is a Northern Virginia native and assists in managing the shop. She is a graduate of George Mason University with Bachelors in Business Management and Accounting and has received her CPA accreditation in 2011. Hannah also has been an avid cyclist since she was a teenager and currently works at Golden Rule Builders in Fauquier County, Virginia. | ![]() |
