Overnight Paddle Trip

   Your self-supported adventure starts with a shuttle service to Dam 4, where you'll begin the first day of your trip. You'll paddle downstream in one of our rental canoes or kayaks to a camping location** along the C&O Canal for a night of relaxation along the river's edge. The next day you will jump back on the river and paddle to Dargan Bend boat ramp where we will pick you up for a pre-scheduled shuttle back to Shepherdstown. We provide the transport, the boats, paddles, and lifejackets. Total miles to paddle is 20.

**Camping locations options include:
-Hiker biker free campgrounds are first come-first serve. Options are Big Woods, Horseshoe Bend, or Killiansburg Cave campsites.
-Antietam Creek campground is a large linear campground for many groups for a small fee per night.
