Group Rides!

Eddie Sampson and friends lead group rides starting at the bike shop on Saturday and Sunday mornings year round no matter how hot or cold. You are invited to join us. We start between 6am and 7am in the summer months and 7am to 9am in the winter months with routes ranging from 30 to 50 miles. Shuttle Service

Pedal & Paddle is located 1/4 mile from the local boat ramp on the Potomac River and offers shuttles to surrounding areas. Reservations recommended for shuttle service requests.

If your desired trip is not listed please ask. We welcome special requests and will do our best to cater to each individual or group.

Dam #4:

Drop 12 miles upstream and float down to Shepherdstown boat ramp. Plan for an afternoon float for this trip, 3-5 hours.

    » Cost: $40 per group (1-5 people)

Local Shepherdstown Boat Ramp:

Drop and pick up at the local boat ramp. Freedom to paddle up or down stream (current is very calm on this part of the river).

    » Cost: $20 per group (1-5 people)

Antietam Battlefield (Bikes):

Drop and pick up bikes at the Antietam Battlefield so you can enjoy the beautiful and historic battlefield by bike. Please note there is a $4 entrance fee per person at the park.

    » Cost: $30 per group (1-5 people)

Greenbrier State Park (Technical Mountain Biking):

Drop off and pick up at the Greenbrier State Park, home of the Greenbrier Challenge mountain bike race. Located 12 miles from Shepherdstown this park offers everything from novice to expert bike trails.
